When you have created your 7 stitches.. You are then beginning to start the knit of the scarf.
Place your needle through your stitch as you would normally.. Then instead of winding your yarn around the needle what you want to do is the following.
Allow another 4cm length and using your needle pick up another few loops of the yarn on your needle, then slip off your stitch as per normal. Continue this process until your scarf if complete.
