Good day all here's some more samples I made for the Extravaganza weekend at Craft World.
Products used on this card are
CED23020 Pressed Shirt
I used only a section of the sports die and cut it so I could use it to edge out from behind the shirt and also for the hanging boots at the top. Great what you can do with scraps of card that would usually go in the bin lol.
Well folks we've just finished our Spring Extravaganza weekend at Craft World and what a fabulous time we had. Over the next week I'll get some samples uploaded along with a list of products used.
This sample was made using Creative Expressions Daisy Stained Glass die product number CED24006. It's was coloured using Crafters Companion Aqua Blend pencils and highlighted using Crafters Companion clear shimmer pen.
Morning folks.. Craft World are set to have their Annual Spring Extravaganza event in a few weeks time again.
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th April with ongoing demonstrations throughout the day from 10am till 4pm. Free parking and NO need to book. Refreshments and light snacks will be available to purchase from Laura's Kitchen or bring your own.
On the 9th of March we brought this wee fella in to our lives thanks to The Red Foundation.
He's almost 5 and extremely overweight. He should weigh approx 7kg and when we got him he was a hefty 13.7kg. Lots of hard work over the coming months to get this wee fella back in shape so he can fully enjoy his life.
Had a lovely surprise last week with an unexpected delivery from wonderful step daughter and son in law. Bless her.. she knew I'd been really poorly but had helped look after her kitty cat who'd had recent surgery whilst she was on holiday. As I told her.. that's what wicked step mum's are for lol.
Started off with the intentions of stamping and colouring but opened my dyary instead and ended up colouring some of the pre composed images instead lol. Plenty more to do in this one and even better I have another with completely different images to start on after this one. Life is good at times lol.
Sadly on December 17th my beautiful furry friend Smithy passed away in my arms and took a huge piece of my heart along with him. He was unique in every sense of the world and will never be forgotten and will always have a very special place in my heart. Needless to say Christmas was a quiet solemn day as we didn't feel like celebrating very much.
Christmas always sees a trip to the homeless unit in Glasgow to drop off cards and presents. June who I work with is always a trooper when it comes to giving me loads of stuff for them too. This year it was almost equivalent to a black bin bag of crochet and I honestly forget how many cards but it was treble figures anyway. This is me working my way through 100 quick cards for them too.
Please never forget the homeless especially at Christmas as we know not what their reasons are for being on the streets and many will be thinking of their loved ones.
Had a lovely catch up with 2 of my oldest friends pre christmas. Life so often gets in the way and it's hard to match schedules. Gorgeous meal followed by a trip to the local cocktail bar and laughter with beautiful friends.
When you have a workshop booked for 19 ladies.. you have a 3 hour window which includes stopping for tea, coffee and cake (delicious home baking may I add) and you decide to push them to make 4 cards in that time. Amazing bunch of ladies who always make me smile when I go to visit them and make me feel so welcome.
