Morning all... and I'm a bit shocked at myself today for joining in WOYWW.. it's been so long since I've joined in the fun but I've had a few messages over the last few days asking if I'm okay or not... apparently I've been a bit on the quite side lately so I'm going to do my best to correct that... heaven forbid anyone think I'm quiet..  I've just been busy with work and the spare time I have had I've been catching up around the house so apologies to all.. Everything is fine in the old Robertson household but thank you so much for showing how much you care.  

Well this morning my desk is all set up with some stamps and distress inks ready to get some samples made for my demo this coming Saturday at Ashby Designs in Musselburgh.

I have a feeling I'm going to be a little on the inky side of life by the end of the day yet again...  Lots of stamping, blending, spritzing and maybe even some bleaching could be called for in the old craft room today..  Before that happens though I need to pop to the supermarket to top up the shelves and grab a bite of lunch too.. then hopefully I'll try to be more active online and share some makes with you.

2 to 3 yr fixed rate at all time low

The average two-year fixed rate in the UK was 4.36% in June, with three year rates at the lowest on record at 4.95%.

The five year rate, at 5.37% is at its lowest since January 2011 and swap rate trends suggest all fixed rates could go lower still.

Well its another busy day at Kelvingrove Park.. I'm on the tea run just now so thought I'd share a few pics.. This is one of the pencil cases that has been decorated today.. Pretty good for a young boy don't you think..

Stamping time

Evening all.. Well I've had a wonderful day at Kelvingrove Park.. It was non stop all day and they are expecting it to be even busier tomorrow.

There were over 200 kids entertained at my table alone today and they made a major dent on my stamped collages.. So.. I'm off to stamp another 150 just now using this gorgeous collage by Clarity Stamps.. Wish me luck.. Hopefully I'll get to bed before midnight.. Lol.

If you're in the area and have never been to the Mela before you really should pop in.. There's so much going on and the kids are loving it.

With that said I'll bid you all good night and will try to get some more pics tomorrow again.

GLASGOW MELA!!!

Morning folks and the weekend of the Glasgow Mela has finally arrived and I'm rather excited.. My bag is all packed ready for 2 days full of crafting with kids at Kelvingrove Park.

Off to finish getting ready now.. Will try to get pics and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Evening all.. It's been a busy day with housework, hospital appt and work.. But I'm glad to say that's my last collage done for the weekend.. All that's left to do now is die cut 100 umbrella men and stamp 100 clock backgrounds..

Best go make a wee coffee before I begin and I'll try my best to get some pics at the Mela.. Have to be careful though as I'll be working with kids all the time so it will be hand shots only.

OMG...

Am I having fun or what.. A plain old white canvas bag combined with some Jo Sonja's paints and I'm in heaven.. This is my first attempt to you just know it's going to be a riot.. But do I care!!! No not at all as I'm having so much fun.. And it gives me an excuse to buy more bags too.. Lol.

More Mela makes..

Well that's another batch made ready for the kids to use at the Mela this weekend.. I'm having fun stamping them but what I really can't wait for is to see the kids using them at the weekend.. I have a feeling this is going to be a rather colourful and inky few days.. Lol.

Off to get myself some lunch now, do the housework and maybe out into the garden for a wee while too.

Stamping..

Morning all.. Had a right lazy start to the day as I didn't wake till about 10.30am.. Sshhhhhh I know how bad that is.. Lol. I've almost reached the bottom of the 2nd mug of coffee and defo think I need a 3rd so I reach full speed.. BUT.. I have already made a start on today's work and here's a pic to prove it. I thought I'd get some done this morning then weather permitting I might get out to tidy a bit of the garden this afternoon. Also need to take a trip down the cemetery as it's 8 yrs today since I lost my brother. Just hoping we don't get too much rain so I can enjoy a bit of fresh air.. Well the report for tomorrow seems to be rain, rain and more rain.. Yuck.
