I laid my dressing gown down on the sofa whilst popping off to make a wee hot choc for myself... And what happens... Smithy jumps up and starts nestling himself in... That is before he spots a movement outside the window so his nose is bothering him a bit... Lol.. Give him a few minutes and he'll be sprawled out, heading off to the land of nod... Just glad the heating's not clicked off yet... Bbbbrrrrrrr.

Cute Card Thursday
The theme this week over at Cute Card Thursday is TIC TOC..... oh yes... the one thing in life we can never get enough of 'time'... so guess that means there's no excuse for not being able to join in the fun.
Finally decided upon a 'New Baby Time' card for my entry and off to work I set... knew what I wanted to do but didn't have the blue that I had hoped for so opted for the green instead... in real life the card is not anywhere near as dark as it appears here... that's all down to my lighting which at this time of night sucks..
First up I used an ink dabber through my TH clock mask then whilst that was drying, I used versamark for my foot prints and letters, brushed over with some cosmic shimmer, trimmed to size and mounted to the card using foam pads... every so quick and simple.
Can't wait to see what everyone else's time is ticking away on...

Stamp something challenge
Well I know it's almost time for a new challenge but there was still time to join in this weeks fun and that's exactly what I'm doing... the theme this week at Stamp Something is Fall colors... oh just what I was needing as it's been so wet & miserable here the last few days.. some yummy hot colours to cheer me up...
Out came the TH distress inks along with a couple of stamp sets from the Words Like Honey range at Time To Sow... gorgeous shrubery & trees... just perfect... built the layers with different shades of ink for a bit of depth and finally finished close up with some deep green foliage... the bits on the bottom are actually the top of a tree stamp.. well... it is good when a stamp can multi task too ... is it not... lol.
Right.. time to get back in motion else I won't get through any more work today... catch ya all laters...

WOYWW
Zippety Dooohhhh Daaahhhhhh it's that time of the week again when we all get to have a nosey at each others' work zone... yes that's right.... it's WOYWW........
Relatively tidy at the moment as I'm just in the process of cleaning up after finishing a piece last night... all that's left to do is mount it on a card now then join another challenge... lol... having an unexpected day at home today so should mean I get to play a little more than was previously expected.... now I can't complain about that can I....
Right, well that's enough gibble gabble from me for the moment... I've got crafty zones to nosey at... so I'll bid you all a fond farewell and will catch up with you all later on again.
Happy crafting

Sunday sketch & stamp challenge
Well I've had a lovely three days with my hubby as it was a bank holiday weekend here but now it's time to get back to normal... and that means only one thing.. challenges & crafting... lol.
First up I thought I'd start with the Sunday sketch & stamp challenge where there is a super sketch to work with. It's a bit matting & layering based but I decided to see if I could still meet the challenge but solely by using distress inks & stamps... think I managed it not too bad... well... it's all flat with the exception of the water lily... it's built in 3 levels.
I had a ball doing this one and so little was needed... stamps are all from the 'Words Like Honey' range at Time To Sow and you can buy your distress inks there too.. sure makes my shopping trips a little quicker and easier when I only need the one shopping cart... lol.
Right, time to get on with the day... some chores to do then lock myself in my crafty zone and see what else I can come up with.
Catch you all later

Penny Black challenge
Ohhhh errrrr.... what a wonderful theme to this weeks Penny Black challenge.... Indian Summer.... just perfect seeing as it's so blooming cold here... feels as though the snow is just around the corner and we're still only in September.. think it may be another long winter.
Well out came my favourite PB stamp along with some distress inks and some basic grey paper.. a little inking of the paper to put some heat into that, matting and layering and a little ribbon & lace just for the finishing touch... now being as I've been all wrapped up today with big woolly socks and my padded jacket, this little card sure did help to heat me up.
Off now to see what else I can tackle whilst watching tv with hubby... hope you've all had a fab day and will catch up with you tomorrow again.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge
G'day all... and thankfully at long last I've managed to join in with a challenge again.. it's just been one of those weeks when nothing has gone to plan... guess we all suffer from them though from time to time and hopefully now it will be business as usual again for a while.
To get me back in the swing of things, I've started of with The Sugar Bowl challenge where we were given a beautiful easy sketch to work with.... now I'm generally always running at the last minute trying to get my christmas cards made but I've started using the challenges to help me get organised in advance... lol... let's hope my plan works.
For my card, I used one of my new images called 'Sweet as Candy'... used my nesties of course and married it all up with some core-dinations cardstock and papers by Heidi Grace.... my snowflake was made using a Marianne designs die cut and the lace and gem were from Angel Crafts. Used a quickie glue pen on the snowflake then sprinkled glitter over and around the edges I used stickles which then had glitter sparkled over too... well we can't very well have a little candy girl with no glitter can we...
Hope you're all finding time to join in the fun this week... I'm off for a quick nosey at another challenge before hubby kicks me off the computer as he wants on it to see what's happening in the Mr Olympia contest..... really.... who cares..... I've got challenges to do!!!!!!!!

Where did the day go....
OMG... I can't believe that the full of yesterday passed me by in the blink of an eye... started with a bit of a lie in right enough and that never makes for a good start to the day... housework, washing etc, supermarket run, invoices.... by mid afternoon I decided to deal with all the crappy jobs I've been putting off and try to get them all out the road on the one day... well... all but 2 of the jobs got done and that was only because I ended up talking with an old friend on the phone for 3 hours last night... otherwise it would have been mission complete. Needless to say, I'm gonna finish my tasks and then get into my craft room... it's been one of those weeks and I'm now surrering from serious withdrawl symptoms.... lol
Catch you all in a few hours again I hope....

WOYWW
Finally.... kept trying to upload my pics earlier and Mr Blogger just was not having it...obviously he's being a grumpy old man today... so I had no option but to head off to the dentist and hope for the best when I got back...
Have chipped a bit off of one tooth so need to replace the filling there, a clean & polish and a referral to see the oral surgeon for my wisdom tooth to be extracted. My preference would be for my own dentist to do the extraction but having been a dental nurse for a decade I pretty much know what's going to be involved and after discussing it with her, we have decided that I will have it done in hospital under local anaesthetic.
Feeling sorry for myself, I stopped off at the local cafe and bought myself a roll & sausage for lunch which was very yummy and am now sitting sipping on my coffee.
What a horrid morning it has been but at least my afternoon is off to a good start... joining in with this weeks WOYWW... and yes... my desk is rather clean but that's because I haven't had the chance to do anything yet this week.. got my toys out ready to play and once I've finished my post I'm off to the work area to get dirty... lol
As usual though... the underside of my desk is not quite so tidy with an array of tools all lining up just waiting for me to grab them... hopefully they'll be exhausted by the end of the day... lol
Well... time is rolling on so alas I must bid you all a fond farewell and hope that you too are joining in the fun this week...

IT'S CANDY TIME AGAIN......
Evening all... hope you've had a good day and maybe I can make your evening a little brighter too by offering up some lovely stamps as a candy prize...
This gorgeous set of stamps has very kindly been donated to me by 'Time To Sow'... so a massive thanks go out to Tim, Mandy and Emma for their generosity once again. These stamps are from their own range of 'Words Like Honey' stamps which is expanding at a very fast rate and varies from sentiments & swirls to nature & christian.
A lot of people think they only deal with Christian stamps and that is not the case... they are also stockists of many other brands apart from their own... including Inkadinkadoo, Stampendous, Staz on, Stix 2 etc... so it really is worth having a visit to their site and take the time to have a good look around.
Now if you fancy your chances at winning this delicious set of stamps then the rules are very simple to follow.
1. LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS POST
See, I told you the rules were simple didn't I... lol.... now if you would like to post a link on your blog so that others can join in the fun I would be grateful but it's not compulsory.
Well, that's it for now and good luck to all who enter...
Closing date is Tuesday 28th September.

Mr Postie arrived......
Morning all... just had to share my gorgeous new stamp arrivals from Time to Sow and I can't wait to get started playing with them... the mind is swirling with ideas already... lol. Absolutely adore this floral designs one and can image so many techniques being used on this.
Think I will need to have a good old play with some clear embossing powder on this one... and that's only to begin with... lol
Now you can never go wrong with background stamps like these... Tim Holtz distressing... hhhhhmmmmmm oh yes I definately think so...
Now these gorgeous little hummingbirds and flower are just the sweetest and not sure yet if they're getting done in Sakura metallics or stardust... time will tell...
Now I love the versatility of these stamps.. I know there is an Easter text stamp but you could also use christmas, sympathy etc... loads of scope here so a definate essential...
Well my face just lit up when I saw these little cuties... how adorable are they and I had visions of cotton wool, twigs, cotton etc... these ones I just know I'm gonna have some mega, mega fun with... a big kid at heart I guess..lol
Right... now that i've shared my newest arrivals with you all I guess I can get on with my day.. doing some child minding today so just have to go with the flow a little and use my time wisely...
Catch you all again later when I'll be posting a bit of candy for you all...

Update on Cynthia
For all you lovely bloggers out there who know our beloved Cynthia... Aka.. Rainbowlady... You will be aware that she is currently in Bermuda and may or may not be aware that they have a huge hurricane heading their way. Thankfully we have managed to make contact with one another so I can let you know that they are safe and well. There is a lot of damage, trees down, power is cut and ceilings falling in so she has no computer access until it passes over. So, I thought I'd give you all an update incase anyone was wondering how she is.

Just Magnolia
Well I'm doing my best to get back into my daily challenges routine so first up today is my entry to the Just Magnolia challenge where we have to use lace... it can be paper lace so there's really no excuse for not joining in... unless that is of course that you don't have any Magnolia stamps... lol... this is the only one I have at the moment.
For my card I used some yummy MME papers combined with a layered journaling tag from Basic Grey.. didn't do any journaling though as I thought it was pretty just left as was... I used one of the lines as a guide for my lace and then mounted Tilda on top of her ledge... placed the acetate overlay over the top of her for protection and added a few gems to this... then finished off with a gorgeous Prima flower and 2 pins.
Papers I think came from Craft Obsessions
Tilda stamp & basic grey journaling tag purchased from Click on Crafts
Pins purchased from Hobby House
Lace, flower & gems all purchased from Angel Crafts
Hopefully as my collection of stamps grow so to will my entries into the challenge.
Off now to get some work done and will catch you all later.... have a great day.

Penny Black challenge
Evening all... well it's another Saturday which means another new challenge over at the Penny Black challenge blog with yet more amazing goodies as a prize if you're the lucky winner chosen at random next week.. well we can all hope and pray that it's us can't we.. afterall... someone's gotta win and it could very well be any of us.
Onto this weeks's challenge which is based around a fab sketch and for mine I used some bazzill cardstock combined with Heidi Grace papers... Image & sentiment are both from the 'Christmas Critters' collection, some card candy from Craftwork Cards, the ribbon which looks black is actually dark green (light sucks in here I'm afraid) and my snow flakes were made using my Marianne designs die cuts and then they were sprayed with a Teal Mica Mist from Angel Crafts.
Well I've joined in the fun and I hope that you will too... the more the merrier as they say. As for me... I'm off to see what else I can have a little play with whilst watching some tv.
Catch you all again in the morning.
Happy crafting

The Sugar Bowl Challenge
G'day folks and I guess it's pretty apparent that I'm on the backshift today instead of dayshift eh... lol... had quite a bit I had to deal with this morning hence the lateness of my posting.
Today's card is my entry to The Sugar Bowl challenge so obviously I had to use one of my gorgeous new images that I won last week... 'Kiss Me Quick'... such an adorable stamp don't you think... I married her up with some christmas papers from Creative Imaginations, ribbon, buttons, stickles and gems all from my stash. This is one little cutie who will become a part of my christmas card collection for sure.
Hope you all manage to join in the fun this week too... you never know... you could be a lucky winner just like I was.... thank you to The Sugar Bowl.
Off to go get the shopping etc done so that I can sit down later on and have another little play.

Papertake Weekly challenge
Okay folks... have just realised that I'm still working on challenge cards from a few days ago so will try and up the pace today and tomorrow... so let the fun begin... 1st up today is my entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge where the theme is Pink, Purple & Blue...
Really did have a root around for this one... paper is a few years old and came from a create & craft kit... blue bazzill... well we never run out of bazzill do we... lol... my little Sarah Kay image... paper flowers that were just hiding in my room and the ribbon & gem brads came from Angel Crafts. Some quick matting & layering and voila it's done... not what I would call an amazing card but perfect when you need to do a quick make as you've just realised you've forgotten someone's birthday... lol.
Hope you're all joining in the challenge fun today and I'll be back shortly with another card or two...

Truly Scrumptious challenge
Now here I am having a really crap day... broken a wisdom tooth and everything... so decided to make myself feel better by making my card for this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge.. then low and behold I realised there was an optional theme of blue & green... obviously my brain is not quite in the right place today.. fortunately I did however manage to work to the sketch so all was not lost... lol
The bottom paper is by Heidi Grace and I haven't got a clue about the top paper... found it in my stash.. lol... snow flakes done on paper from the same range so sorry about that... my snowflakes were made using die cut flakes by Marianne design and the sentiment comes from Craftwork Cards... my favourite part of the card is the image... the new Goosey Gander stamp from Sugar Nellie... I just think she's adorable...
Well sorry this is short and sweet but off to pop a wee painkiller to calm the mouth down a bit..
Catch you all again soon

Fun with Mica Mists...
Afternoon all... just had to share my fun experience with you as I've had so much fun with this little project.
I had found a piece of stampboard last week whilst clearing through my stash and got my hands on some gorgeous mica mists yesterday during my visit to Angela at Angel Crafts... hhhhmmmm the mind pondered upon what I could create and here is the final item...
What did I do... well first up I tore a piece of photocopy paper so that I could mask part of the board and sprayed the top of my board in teal and added just a hint of rose pink then set my heat gun on it... this was really fun watching it all mixing and moving around the board... once dry I then sprayed the bottom with mango crush... and when I set the heat gun on this it pulled a little of the teal in to give a slightly green hue to it... just what I needed for my mountain area. Once I had my stampboard dry I then pulled out my Words Like Honey mini tree images and stamped up with staz-on... to create the little bushy effects I simply used the top part of one of the tree stamps.
Not a lot was required for the project and it was very quick and fun to make into the bargain... watch out stampboard if there's any more of you lurking within my craft room... you're gonna get mica'd to pieces... lol
Right I'm off now to see what other mischief I can get myself into... not that much time though as I've got a meeting at 6pm and need to organise dinner before that too... oh I must run... my craft desk is calling to me... it's oh so lonely now that I'm on the computer.
Catch you all later...

WOYWW
Morning folks and woohoo.... it's time for another WOYWW.... I think we're all a bit the same when it comes to Wednesday... quickly becoming the favourite day of anyone's week as we all get to have a nosey around everyone else's workspace... lol. Now my desk is all laid out this morning to try and help me decide what to play with... can't quite make my mind up at the moment...
First up there's my new Sugar Nellie stamps which I won in last week's Sugar Bowl challenge... along with snowflake die cuts and an embossing folder never mind the pack of 10 promarkers.. it really was a fab prize and I was delighted when I got home yesterday and saw that Mr Postie had made the delivery...
Then there are my gorgeous new mica mists from Angel Crafts... how could a girl possibly resist these delicious colours... rose pink... mango crush and teal... think I may be in paradise already... lol
Then there are my gorgeous new mica mists from Angel Crafts... how could a girl possibly resist these delicious colours... rose pink... mango crush and teal... think I may be in paradise already... lol
Then finally but by no means least... there is a little square of stampboard that I happened to find the other day... it's just lay there on my desk looking all bored with life and it's flat looking white appearance... hhhmmmm me thinks that I may very well have to save the day and give this poor wee stampboard a reason to live... question is... what is a girl to choose... lol
Well that's my desk for the day folks now all I have to do is choose what I'm gonna play with first... that alone may well take me a few hours... then again... it may only take a few minutes... won't know till I get started so on that note, I will bid you a fond farewell until later in the day when I'll no doubt be posting again with a little creation or two.
Hope you all join in the fun.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp
Morning folks and it's another rather dull overcast day here so I hope that your weather is better than mine wherever you may be...
Today's card is my entry for the Sunday sketch and stamp challenge where we have been given a lovely sketch to work with. For my card I used some gorgeous MME papers, combined with lace, adhesive pearls & a gorgeous flower which came from my 'Bits & Pieces' kit from Angel Crafts. Finally my image was mounted to the card using foam pads and voila... one finished card.
Right I'm off to get organised now as I've arranged a wee meeting to have a play with some gorgeous mica sprays, but I'll catch you all later in the day again.

Penny Black Challenge and Cute Card Thursday
Hhhhmmmmmm were my thoughts this weekend when I saw what the theme was over at the Penny Black challenge... one of our worst nightmares... to create a male themed project... now we all know how we hate these don't we... lol and over at Cute Card Thursday the theme there for this weeks challenge is 'Play on Words'... was there a way to combine both I wondered... hhhhmmm again!!!
Out came my PB stamps to see what could be utilised for the challenge and I thought this one was quite good as it's not gender specific... and apart from that.. even a man likes a piece of toast and boiled egg for his breakfast... doesn't he...
Next up came the papers to use and I decided upon the 'Fresh Anthology' collection by MM... to my delight I had lots of scrap pieces so I decided to use them up for my layout.
Done a little inking around all the edges... some matting and layering then added a few adhesive stones to finish along with my little 'Eggstatic' sentiment.
Well now I've managed at least one card for the day, it's time to put the boots and rain mac on as I so must get to Asda and it's still peeing rain here... and windy into the bargain... then got to do some clearing up as we've got visitors coming tonight... hopefully I can do everything fast enough that I can still squeeze in another bit of crafting before the day is through... lol

The bits you don't normally see...
Morning all and although I wish I could say it's a beautiful sunny day here... unfortunately it is anything but... very much more like an early winter's day... very heavy, dark grey skies and I don't think it's stopped raining since it began hours ago... Now I'm running behind this morning and don't have anything quite ready to upload... lay in bed rather late as I've got a stomper of a migraine this morning... so... thought I'd share some pics of my craft room with you all... you know the bits that you don't normally see but seeing as so many of you think I'm always clean and tidy I thought I'd show you the true room...
The picture above is what all hides under my desk... a bag of material and another of ribbon, my waste bin (non recycling items), my Hougie board, scrap box, cutting mats etc...
This is the section to the right of my desk... the BIG black rubbish bin is for all my recycling stuff.. no sense in having a wee thing that I need to empty every day is there... lol.. and behind that at the very back is all my tote bags etc... my 2 plastic sets of drawers are wonderful and only cost £10 each from Asda... the one on the left has all my Sakura demo gear in it.. pens, cd's, stamps etc... the one on the right has a mixture of papers, embellishments, nick nacks etc... and my wee blue plastic tub on top is full of glue, sticky dots and foam pads...
Now on my old tv stand from way back when... inside I hide a multitude of templates, embossing boards etc, there are picture frames etc to the sides and on top.. well... boxes and folders of papers... all different sizes... there are pins, flowers, buttons, pearls, alphas, brads etc all stored up here....
This section has all my pens, spray, stickles, embossing powders etc stored in the tubs and the drawers contain all different papers, card, envelopes, fibres, stamps etc... and the tubs on top of the drawers contain glitters, there's also my box of cd's there and my faithful little side kick for the odd occassion it is used...
Finally... phew you still with me... this is my wee tidy area.. here is where I keep my cricut and big shot... now you know why this area is clean... I need the space to work on... lol...
Well I hope you enjoyed your little meander around my craft room and now you know that I'm really not as neat and tidy as you may all think I was... infact, I really am a bit of a messy devil.. and with that said.. I will bid you all a fond farewell for the moment being as I have a little image lying on my desk all stamped up just crying out to be coloured and added to a card.

Stamp Something Challenge
Well it's another good day here folks... and another challenge is complete... today's is based upon the Stamp Something challenge where the theme is Spots & Stripes... right away I knew what stamp I wanted to use... little Gorguss with her spotty dress & stripey tights... now what to make... Hhhhmmmm..... well after some time I decided to make a start on my chipboard book which I had done nothing else to other than cover the pages with papers.
First up, stamped & coloured my image and put through my Big Shot with my nesties... then had to find a paper with stripes... well to me lined paper counts as it creates stripes... doesn't it... into my Duck Pond box I went & used this lovely lined paper which just happened to have a floral design on it... perfect me thought... so I cut a piece of that and attached to my page then added a few dew drops (also from my Duck Pond kit) to the flower centres. Then little gorguss was attached on top and finally some leaves, pins & a beautiful blue flower (again all from my DP kit) which I edged with some stickles for a little bit of sparkle.
Hope many more of you are joining in the fun too...

Challenge..... Hope you all join in........
My Red, White & Blue creation
Good day everyone... and there is obviously no need to remind you that today is September 11th and is now the 9th anniversary of that fateful day that change our world forever.
To show rememberance of all who lost their lives and also those whose have been left behind I thought I would invite you all to join in a week long challenge... Yes I will leave this challenge open for 1 week and at the end of it, as a little thank you to all who join in I will be posting out a surprise gift to one lucky winner. Now the prize will remain a mystery but it has very kindly been donated to me for this challenge by 'Time To Sow' crafts.
There are no rules for your entry but if you want a theme to work with then why not try like I did and use only 'Red, Blue & White'... It does not need to deplict anything to do why the events of that day it can simply be a flower based card or anything... please just create a little something in order that we can all show just how united our world can be.
Here are some pictures just to remind us all of those fateful events.
May I just say a huge thanks in advance to all who join in and I appreciate the time and effort that you will give to creating something just for this challenge.
Now all you have to do is leave a comment here with a link to your post so we can all share in each other creations and if you could make a link back to this posting I would gratefully appreciate it.
Love 'n' hugs to one and all

Baby's Door Plaque
Yes oh yes I have been playing again and this time around it's not a challenge card... seem to have been stuck in a rut of card making lately so time for me to have a wee change.. don't be misled by my words, I will still be joining in the daily challenges but also want to expand my horizons again and incorporate some alternative projects too.
For today's venture I decided upon a door plaque for a baby as I wanted to play with my Duck Pond Crafts kit... just adore the giraffe & duck so off to work I set planning where I was going to put things and ended up I had to incorporate one of each as I simply couldn't decide which to use.. lol. So here is my finished plaque for you all to see and believe it or not.. the only things on it that weren't from my kit are the little rub on's and 2 black gems for the eyes... the papers, die cuts, ribbons & dew drops are all from my delicious box of goodness.. hhhhmmmmm wonder what I can create from it next.. I'm sure it won't be long before I'm sharing with you all so you'll know when the time comes around.
Well I best sign off now as I want to make a start on my 9/11 challenge project and have to pick hubby up from work at 5pm so will bid you all a fond farewell for the moment being but you know me... I'm never far away.

Papertake Weekly Challenge
Morning all... and hope it's a good one at that for you. It's nice here indoors, but unpleasant outdoors... yucky heavy cloudy skies and drizzle... where oh where has my sunshine gone....
Alas, our crafting continues no matter what the weather and today I'm kicking off with this week Papertake Weekly challenge. For my card I used my new 'Words Like Honey' stamps... loved the fact that I was able to produce my own background with a miniature tree identical to my larger image... My base card was stamped & heat embossed with miniature trees then distressed slightly with some good old distress inks... my next layer was stamped with a classy gold scroll... this time it was heat embossed with gold powder and distressed with blue ink... next layer I created a slight wood effect by rubbing my versamark over some bazzill cardstock and then heat embossing in gold... some lace was tied around all this and it was attached to the card. Finally I stamped & embossed my main image and distressed again before mounting with foam pads. My lace came from a kit I picked up at Angel Crafts..
Sorry this is short & brief but need to be out of the house in half an hour so need to quickly jump in the shower... but... I'll be back this afternoon and I have another little something to share with you all then.
Toodles for now.

I won, I won, I won.................
Zippity Doo Dah......Zippity aye.... my oh my what a wonderful day..... plenty of sunshine coming my way.... zippity doo dah.... zippity aye.
Well folks... what a wonderful start I've had to the day as one of the first things that happened was I learned that I was the lucky winner of the last challenge over at The Sugar Bowl and what a prize it is... you can see most of the prize in the picture but there are also 4 new Sugar Nellie stamps also... Gayle has kept them a secret from everyone so I need to wait till my gorgeous bag of goodies arrive to see just how gorgeous they really are... me thinks you will be seeing a pic of them right enough shortly upon their arrival here.
What all did I win... wait for it.... here goes....
Pack of Promarkers (Rubber Stamp Set 1)
Snowflakes Cutting Die
Snowflakes embossing folder
4 brand new Country Cousins Christmas Rubber Stamps
Now if that doesn't get me organised for christmas then I really don't think anything will... lol.
Oh I'm still in disbelief at being the lucky winner... hope I stay on this high all day now... will probably zoom through the work and goodness only knows what inspiration it will give me in my craft room... time will tell.
Hope you all have a fab day & I'll be back later with another little something to share with you.
Oh and don't forget... the new challenge has just been posted over at The Sugar Bowl and it's yet again another massive prize so if I were you I'd be getting my bum over there and joining in the fun.

WOYWW
Yes folks... it's here again... another WOYWW... and I don't quite know why but no matter when I take my pics my space always looks relatively neat and tidy... beginning to think I should perhaps post pics of all the mess that lies strewn around elsewhere in the room... lol...
Yesterday was good and I managed to post 3 projects which must be one of my best days for a very long time and last night I made a start on another 2... this time it's a love scalloped chipboard album and a little birdhouse... still got a roof to make right enough to ensure my wee birdie is sheltered from the wind... lol.. and still got no idea what I'm gonna put in my album but I'm sure that it will come to me as time goes on.
You may notice that there is a lovely metal whisk thing on my desk... well last week Julia asked me what exactly it was and why it was there... well let me tell you now. It is what it looks like.. it's a milk frother which I got years ago but one day I hunted everywhere and couldn't find my embossing tool... hmmmm.... the old mind got a ticking and suddenly I realised there was a ball on the end of the whisk... lol. Since that day my trusty little frother has taken permanent place on my desk... well it's got a better chance of being used there than in the kitchen.
Now I don't know if anyone would be interested or not but I was thinking of running a wee challenge myself tomorrow to commemorate 9/11... not sure if anyone would be interested though so have put a post on my blog about it... if you would be up for joining in tomorrow can you please leave me a comment so I know that there is interest... just thought it may be a nice way for us crafters to show our respect in rememberance of the day that shook the world.
I'm off to get ready now as I'm going to give Angela at Angel Crafts a bit of a hand with her orders today so I know I'm gonna have a fun time there and hope you all have a fab day too.
Toodles for now

Commemorate 9/11
Hi everyone... As we are all aware 9/11 is just around the corner and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining in if I were to run a challenge that day to commemorate not just the lives that were lost but also all of the survivors whose lives have been changed forever.
If you would be interested can you please leave a quick comment so that I know there is interest. I just thought it would be nice for us all to show our respect but it's up to you of course.
It would also be helpful to gain more interest if you could all put a note on your blog about it.
Thank you.

I thought that we could make the challenge simple by just setting a theme of "Red, White & Blue"

Twiddleybitz....
Hey am I on a roll today or what... 1 day and 3 postings... nothing like making the most of a day though when you have the chance and the best thing to do is craft, craft, craft... not sure hubby will be too sure about that though if dinners' not ready for him arriving home from the office.. lol.
Well I finally got around to finishing off my wee Twiddleybitz Funky Attic Townhouse that I started on weeks ago... the main part of the house was done using Adirondack dabbers and my beloved distress inks... the black on the main frame is Eco-Friendly acrylic and my doodling on the front was done using my Sakura pens. My very simple finishing off of the whole thing was to create some mock grass in the form of some funky fibre, combined with little acrylic flowers and a few butterflies.... okay, I know the butterflies are well out of proportion... but they were too cute to leave off... lol.
Now I must dash again as hubby will be home from work soon looking for his tea and I want to see if I can squeeze some more crafting into my day... I'm having so much fun today, wish every day was just like this.
Catch you all later.

3 wee cuties
Well I spent most of yesterday afternoon having a good clean out around my craft room and as is always the case, you find some things that you forgot you had... well yesterday was no exception and I stumbled upon the remains of a RedHotBed kit that I had used during one of my demo's at Burns & Harris in Dundee. These are fab little slider cards and are so quick to make, only thing you need do is a few pieces of folding and then it's nothing more than sticking everything in place. Quick to make and a brill idea for the kids... both for them to receive and to make themselves. Well now that they're all made up, I'll add them to the pile to get bagged up and shipped out to the troops... I'm sure someone's son or daughter will be thrilled to receive a card like this from their mummy or daddy who is serving their country away from home.
Right... I'm off to move on to the next project now so catch you all again later.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge
Well I'm a little late in the old posting front today as I just could not get to sleep last night... 5am this morning and I was still lying in bed staring at the ceiling.. needless to say I was a little late to rise once I did finally drop off and being on my 3rd cup of fresh coffee I'm finally starting to clear my head a little.
Thankfully my card was all ready just to have a picture taken so at least it's allowing time for the brain cells to function before todays' crafting begins... lol. So todays' card is my entry to this weeks' Cute Card Thursday challenge where we have to feature 'material'. For my card I used some gorgeous pink bazzill card and papers from Basic Grey... the green paper was just plain so I used my 'Words Like Honey' swirl stamp on it to create a background. Also my Martha Stewart punch and finally some ribbon... put all this together with some matting & layering, then stamped my image, coloured and mounted onto my card using foam pads. Some Prima flowers, brad and a few adhesive stones finish the whole thing off.
Now believe it or not... I started this post almost an hour ago... then my mother called... so needless to say I am now running even further behind in the day than I was when I first started.. lol ... so it's time to bid a fond farewell for the moment otherwise I won't achieve anything else with the day.
Hope you're all having a fab day filled with fun & laughter.
Love 'n' hugs
