Hhhhmm chocolate

Just had to get some of these at the shop earlier... Chocolate cups... Boy do they bring back playground memories... Wonder just how many of you can remember eating these too... Lol.. One thing I will say... They actually still taste the same today as they did 30 year ago... So I'm off to enjoy the rest of them now :-)

Catch ya later

Mr postie arrived

Albeit he only brought on of my packages but one is better than none.. Right...

Feel so sorry for all the online stores just now, trying to get orders dispatched and relying on royal mail to deliver them as quickly as possible. I'm happy to wait for mine so long as I get them in the end... Safety comes first.

Got a few things coming so I can make my 12 tags of christmas so I guess I'll just be making a pile of fences in the meantime.. Lol... Least they'll all be dry and ready to attach to the finished tags..

As for our snow, well we've got a bit of a slow thaw started and long may it continue... Life may return to normal over the next few days :D. If you're still knee deep in the white fluffy stuff... Take care and stay warm.

Right I'm off now to do a few bits 'n' bobs before venturing to the shops... Got a few odd jobs need doing around the house so if I can at least get the stuff in today, they can be done as and when time allows.

Toodles for now and take care all.

Handmade felt flower

Well a few days back I started to make some felt... Once it was made I then cut out my shapes and last night I finally sat myself down with needle and thread to stitch it all together... This is the finished result.

I think the snow has stolen my mojo over the last few days but it's time to fight back now and get things finished off... Christmas is quickly approaching and yet I've not even decided upon a design for my own cards yet!!! Wish me luck... Lol.

Need to quickly stick a dye in my hair as one too many grey hairs showing, run around the housework whilst that's working away and then it will be my work time... fingers need to get back in motion again.

Take care all and stay warm if you're surrounded by snow.

Mad Nicole was waving in the window... One minute she was there... The next she was gone.. Poor wee soul slipped and hit the deck... Thank goodness the snow's deep.

No excuse for being dirty

Yes that's right, I have absolutely no excuse now for having dirty hands...not now that I've made some scrummy lavender infused homemade soap.

This is the result of my first attempt and already I'm addicted... Guess I have to say thanks to Anni and Yvonne at Damselfly Crafts for giving me yet more to spend my money on... Lol.

Now I'm going to have to purchase more stash and get the soap kitchen well and truly under way... Wonder if I can get a few batches done before xmas as I could include them as wee reminders for people.

Right, off to see what mischief I can get up to now.

Happy crafting all.

Oh my...

Think I may have a lazy day at home today... It's been snowing overnight again. Well it's a good excuse to stay warm indoors, coffee, cake and tv on the agenda... And a little crafting as well no doubt.

Right now, it's time for coffee and a hot croissant. See ya all later.

Home safe & sound

Well I left here at 8am this morning and that's me just back in the door... Talk about the car journey from hell... It was -7 most of the way up this morning and the same coming home... I managed to cope with the temp but the windscreen scooshers didn't... Frozen solid the whole day... I've been on the hard shoulders more times than I can remember. On the way up I had to get out the car and throw snow on the window to clear it so I bought de-icer when I was there and on the way back was simply putting the window down to spray the windscreen... Service stations are jam packed with motorists having the exact same problem and I even met one poor couple who's bonnet was frozen shut... They got the last bottle of window de-icer and very kindly shared some with me.. That's what I call a true random act of kindness.

Well, baked potato is now ready so I'm signing off for now... Catch you all later.

peek a boo...

Morning all.. by the time this is posting on my blog I'll be off on my journey... up up and away to Kirkcaldy today.. have what will probably be the final demo day of the year today at

Burns & Harris

11 The Postings

Kirkcaldy

so if you happen to be in the area, please pop in and say hello.

Right onto today's card... another quick and easy make for Christmas... card instructions were taken from the new Hougie Crafts project book and then once my card was scored and cut, I layered some bazzill cardstock on selected panels which I highlighted using a white Sakura gelly pen. Next up I added some foam mounted embellishments and to finish off I die cut some snowflakes which I covered in glitter (quickie glue pen is perfect for this), a few wee gems in the centres.

Well, I hope you all have a fabulous day today and sure hope that not too many of you are surrounded by snow... me personally... I hope I manage the journey to Kirkcaldy and back without encountering any... keep fingers crossed for me please.

Toodles for now

Tis the season

Wind picking up, snow falling and it's gathering on the window ledge now!!!

Hope you all stay safe and warm, and for those of you who need to drive, please be careful and stay safe.

That's better

Just realised how dark the last pictures looked taken on my phone so here's another taken on camera... couldn't use the flash though as it's reflecting on the embossing but it still gives you a slightly better idea.

Off now to get some dinner but before I do... if you fancy owning this image it's available from Heritage Rubber Stamps.

Toodles for now

Finished...

Now if that's not a quick and easy topper to make for a card I really don't know what is.
