Christmas Tickle
This is a cute card I had fun making last year for Telfords Direct, which was part of the catwalk design for the NECC. I decided to make my tree red for a change & used these lovely fluffy feathers trimmed at the edges. Took white card stock, two strips of green ribbon put tree on top then used a sequin as the star on top, mini stickle trees on the background & topped off with some gold pom poms as the balls on my tree.

Special guests
Sorry about the quality of the picture! This is a picture taking October last year just before the Hobbycraft fair at the SECC. After months of organisation & a lot of help from our visitors, the craft group I am in were lucky enough to spend a full day crafting with the wonderful Amanda Bateman & Stephanie Weightman from Create & Craft. What a day it was. We kicked off with oriental inspiration from the lovely Amanda. Kimonos, paper butterflies, paper beads etc & then continued with exploding boxes with Stephanie. We received many free goodies to help us with our day so I would like to say a special thanks to those companies Cardology, Telfords Direct and Arts & Crafts Direct. In addition thanks also to Amanda & Stephanie for taking time out of their hectic schedule.
I'm now looking forward to spending another 3 days with them at the Create & Craft Experience in Birmingham next month.
Pink of a Friend
This is a little sample I made for a crafty party. Some shocking pink ribbon against the black card & I'm off, on top of that I placed two different shades of handmade papers (which I adore). I then glued a pre-embossed vellum square saying friends to the back of an adorable mini frame & mounted using foam squares. To finish off, 3 simple gems in the bottom corner. Now that is what I call a quick make. All products came from Cardology.

Baby Blues
Made this little baby when I was trying out Debbi Moore's metal magic for the first time. What a fantastic way to create your own embellishments and it's so much fun. Although I did buy mine in a set from Cardology which includes the rubber stamps.
Decided to mount onto some lovely handmade papers stitched together with some beading wire & finished with a flower gem. A quick & simple make.

First time winner
What fun I have playing with my templates as it doesn't matter what the occassion but there is always a template I can use as they are so versatile.
Explosive Creation !!!
Good morning everyone, here I am again uploading pics only difference is my trusty buddy Kath isn't on the other end of the phone giving me instructions. Trying to make her proud of me today..... (Did it work?)
This is an exploding box I made for a workshop I was doing recently, made using Wendie Rhodes exploding templates and nothing more than some beautiful K&Co paper, stickles & gems.
The people I was teaching are on restricted incomes and I was trying to show them how something quite lovely can be made from very little and doesn't have to cost a fortune. Thankfully it went down well at the workshop and people were thinking how they could use them for favours at weddings, to give something different for the birth of a child etc. Well done to those attending the workshop.

Hi Again
As you will see my blog was started a while back but I got such a heavy workload that I had to abandon it as I have never done a blog before so it's a learning curve for me that required time. Anyway, I'm back in business now & hope to have some pics downloaded onto the blog soon once my crafty friend Kath at kath-allthatglitter.blogspot.com has told me how to do it. Where would I be without here? Well that's too long a story to go into but she knows just how wonderful I think she is. I will do my best to get up to speed with blogging as quickly as possible & I hope you can bear with me in the meantime.
Hope you are all busy crafting away & please do pop back to see me & feel free to leave comments.
Take care for now
Lorraine
